Ceremonia’s full moon mirror is handmade using rattan–a sustainable vine-like tree that grows abundantly from the ground up throughout most of Indonesia. Their artisan partners work with their families to harvest the rattan when it’s ready, then they wash and clean it in the river, and finally smoke it to give it the yellowish/brown hue. Once the material is ready, they burn it at high temperatures to weld into our mirror designs. Due to the handmade nature of this piece and materials used, slight variations may occur.
