The Antarctica quilt features a view from the South pole projection and illustrates the movement and velocity of the ancient, miles-thick ice as it speeds through the polar continent’s glaciers. Appliquéd white cotton is layered on top of black cotton, with additional pale blue cotton appliquéd to show sea ice movement, calling attention to the dramatic changes brought about by climate change. Includes Scott’s 1911 route to reach the South Pole from Ross Island. 

Care: For best quilt care, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry at the lowest sitting (or lay flat to air dry).
