Ultra cooling, soft eucalyptus is like silk, but more durable (and vegan). Each of Sijo’s items is created sustainably and Oeko-Tex certified, meaning there are no harmful chemicals used and that all components meet strict guidelines. The eucalyptus is sourced sustainably from Central European farms, specifically Austria, which means it is not contributing to deforestation. Sijo also uses a closed-loop process, meaning their organic solvents are recycled. They minimize water usage and waste in their manufacturing process.
*Sijo’s team, the teams of their manufacturers in Shanghai, and any contractors are treated and compensated fairly, and provided with benefits and care needed. The factory provides annual leave, maternity leave, social security insurance, and training. All machinery are operated with safety protections.
Sijo utilizes the sustainable properties of dew-retted French linen and the hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and cooling properties of eucalyptus lyocell fabric to produce exceptional loungewear and bedding. Their products are both Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified raw materials, all sourced without harmful chemicals, dyes, or pesticides. The eucalyptus lyocell fabric used across their line of products is made in a closed-loop process that reuses water and solvents used in the manufacturing process. oβs craftspeople are provided with safe and healthy working conditions and are paid above a living wage.
